Welcome Back, Seahawks!
Dear Seahawk Families,
As we prepare to launch the 2025-26 school year, I'm excited to welcome you back to Peninsula High School! Whether you're returning families or new to our community, we can't wait to see our hallways filled with the energy and enthusiasm that makes PHS a special place for students, staff, and families. This summer has been busy with preparations to ensure we're ready to provide a quality educational experience for all our students, and our committed staff is eager to connect with both familiar faces and new Seahawks joining our family.
Please mark your calendars for some important upcoming events that will help kick off our year successfully.
- August 8th, we're hosting our annual Campus Clean-Up day—a wonderful opportunity for students to come together, beautify our school, and connect with our community before classes begin. This link provides sign-up information and more details.
- August 19th, Seahawk 101 is our Freshman and new student orientation, and it is less than a month away! We don't want you to miss out! It is an opportunity to tour the school, learn important information about being a PHS student, meet your classmates, and get your schedule plus free Seahawk gear! This event will help ease the transition to high school life and ensure everyone feels prepared and welcomed as part of the Seahawk community. Be sure to get registered at the attached link. Confirmation emails will be sent out in August with all the details.
- We encourage all students to get involved in athletics, clubs, or activities. Fall registration is still open. Please take a look at the opportunities under the athletics tab.
- September 3rd. First Day! 7:30 start.
Together, we're going to make this an outstanding year!

📣 Apply Now for Free/Reduced Meals and More Benefits for the 2025-2026 School Year! 🍎📚
As we gear up for another exciting school year, we want to remind you about an important opportunity that goes beyond just meals. Now is the time to apply for the Free/Reduced Meals Application for the upcoming 2025-2026 school year. This program offers a wide range of benefits that extend far beyond the cafeteria.
Eligibility is More Than a Meal!
When you qualify for the Free/Reduced Meals program, not only does your student receive nourishing meals, but they also gain access to discounts on various fees associated with technology, credit recovery, college applications, and college preparatory exams. This means your student can explore their academic potential without the worry of financial constraints.
Empowering Education Through Support
Beyond the immediate benefits, the Free/Reduced Meal program plays a pivotal role in funding students' overall education. The program helps provide essential resources such as technology tools and internet access, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to engage in digital learning environments. By participating in this program, you're contributing to a more equitable and inclusive education for all students in our district.
Applying is Easy and Flexible
We understand that life gets busy, and that's why we've designed the application process to be hassle-free. Applications can be submitted at any time during the school year, giving you the flexibility to apply when it's most convenient for you.
