  1. Today is the HOCO Spirit Week Fashion Show at both lunches!  Don't miss it so that you are ready for next week! We also have a big announcement for Spirit Week, so you’ll want to be there!
  2. Monday is the kickoff of HOCO spirit week!  Our spirit day is  Comfy Day - come decked out in your comfiest clothes to get Monday started off right! You can also wear RED to earn spirit points for your class. We'll see you at both lunches to compete in spirit competitions all week long to earn points for your class!
  3. Join us this Sunday, Oct 4th from 10am - 3pm to decorate your class's HOCO wall!  Your class needs your help to be the best wall and earn the week's first spirit points! It's a lot of fun and we can't wait to see you there.  See you in the Commons this Sunday! 
  4. Today in the FRC, the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard will be here during 3rd period to discuss the different types of career options available with them. On Monday, Western Washington University will be in the FRC during 2nd period. Visits are open to all students interested in learning more about the employers or schools who are presenting. Please check in with your teacher before attending.
  5. Have you taken a Foods Class at Peninsula High School? Do you have your Food Handler’s Card? Do you like making treats for your community? If so, FCCLA is the club for you!  Meet us in Room 506 October 6th at 2pm or see Mrs. Dahm for more information.   
  6. GSA is moving to Tuesdays. The Gender and Sexuality Alliance is a safe space for all to be themselves in a fun community. Join us Tuesday, October 6th from 2 to 3 pm in room 207. See Ms. Bowlan for more information.  
  7. Are you a 9th grader or new to playing PHS softball? If so, come to the counseling center to see Ms Hughes to sign up for the email list to make sure you're looped in about fall and winter softball activities! 
  8. Join us for Interact Club on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month in room 511. Come to learn more about community service opportunities! Snacks are included! Everyone is welcome!   
  9. Are you applying to Washington State University this year? Do you have at least a 3.8 GPA? Nominate yourself to be considered by Friday, October 9. The form to complete is on your Class of 2027: Counseling schoology page.
