- Have you taken a Foods Class at Peninsula High School? Do you have your Food Handler’s Card? Do you like making treats for your community? If so, FCCLA is the club for you! Meet us in Room 506 on Tuesday, October 6th at 2pm or see Mrs. Dahm for more information.
- Interested in learning more about modern day world issues? Model UN would be the perfect fit for you. Come down to Room 206 on Thursdays after school to learn more about the club and join us for our weekly meeting.
- GIRLS BASKETBALL FALL OPEN WORKOUTS & OPEN GYM Open Workouts: Starting Sept 28, Mondays & Wednesdays, 4:30–5:30 PM Meet in the Commons and head to the Fitness Lab through the side entrance. Workouts will include plyometrics, weights, and conditioning to prepare for the winter season. Open Gym: Mondays & Wednesdays, 5:30–7:00 PM in the Aux Gym. Players can work on individual skills, shoot, play, and prepare for fall competitive play. On volleyball game days, Open Gym may move to 7:00–8:30 PM. Bring appropriate workout clothes, running/lifting shoes, basketball shoes, a basketball, and a water bottle. First time participating? Pick up an Open Gym Agreement from the Athletic Office. It must be signed by both the athlete and a parent/guardian before participating. Questions? Contact Coach G.
- Get your HOCO Tickets! You can get them online at the Bookkeeper's website. They are $8 with ASB, $12 without. At the door they will be $15 and cash only. The dance is on Sat, Oct 10th! There will be lots of important info about HOCO in the upcoming weeks in Homeroom - so stay tuned!
- Hey Seahawks! This Saturday, the 26th, at PHS, our Band is hosting the Peninsula Classic, an all-day marching band competition where bands from all over Washington state come to compete! Come support your award winning band by watching their performances at 1:20 and 5:45. All students with ASB get in for free! If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Aria Donohue.
- Hey PHS! A quick message from the Health Room: Cold and flu season is here! Help keep yourself and your friends healthy by staying home when you’re sick, washing your hands, and covering those coughs and sneezes! Remember, you can come back to school when you’ve been fever-free for 24 hours without medication, your cough and breathing have improved, and you’ve had no vomiting or diarrhea for 24 hours. Want to get your flu or COVID vaccine? For vaccines, you can go to the pharmacy or your doctor’s office . Stay healthy, PHS!
