1. Our AVID Teacher of the Month for May is Mr Kendall.  Here's what we had to say... Mr Kendall incorporates AVID strategies into his daily coursework by using note taking strategies, Socratic Seminar and holding students accountable with questioning techniques. This helps them to further their understanding and gain lifelong skills to use in other academic classes. Thank you for taking the time to model organization for your students. Keep making us PHS Proud!
2. Seniors, today is the day to turn in your scholarship thank you cards. The scholarship committee will be in the Library today until 2:30.
3. Seniors, Deadline for Guest Prom forms are due today! 
4. PHS Varsity Boys Soccer vs PHS Alumni, this Friday, June 5th at 7:30pm. Roy Anderson field. Cost $5/person, ASB Free. Proceeds benefit Boys Soccer VPO.
5. Sammy's Closet is TOMORROW in the Main Gym during both lunches! Everything is FREE, but you must bring your own bag—we will not have bags available. Check out the fashion show during both lunches today for a preview of some of the great items available. Please help keep the event organized by being respectful while shopping. Don't miss this one-of-a-kind opportunity!
6. Thinking about Swim & Dive? Join summer training. Practices are Monday–Friday, 2:30–4:30 p.m. after school. No experience required—come give it a try!
7. Interest in playing for our girls soccer team in the fall?  The meeting will be in coach B's classroom during both lunches, Wednesday, June 10th in room 623.  We will be discussing summer and fall plans.  Contact Coach B if you have any questions,
8. Senior Swag is on sale at lunch this week! Send a Class of 2026 keychain or grad teddy bear with a personalized note to a graduating senior. Cash only. Please know the recipient's 4th period teacher when ordering.
9. It's that time of year when we start thinking about Seahawk 101! We need volunteers for the event and this is a great opportunity for YOU to start collecting your volunteer hours for next year and to get involved at PHS. 10. PoC is hosting our annual Powder Puff game again! Sign ups are in the lunchroom during both lunches. The event is on June 11th. Gather your team and don't miss out on this fun event!
