- Seahawk Track and Field had 7 athletes qualify for the state championships this past weekend. They were highlighted by Suri Sardinia who was crowned 3A STATE CHAMPION in the Girls discus with a new school record throw of 145 feet, 6 inches!!! Suri also added a 2nd place finish in the Girls Shot Put to cap a historic weekend. Two other Seahawks earned podium spots in the meet Emma Young, 7th place, Girls Triple Jump and Wyatt Harding, 6th place, Boys 800m run. We are Peninsula Proud of you all!
- This year, Peninsula Unified Track brought home two State podium finishes, highlighting the growth and success of our program. We are incredibly proud of every athlete and partner who represented Peninsula and Unified with determination, sportsmanship, and teamwork all season long. Congrats to our 3rd place unified 4x100 relay team, Alice Casey, Haydn Montgomery, Justin Carnahan, Maya Rogers, Ben Griffin, Cliff Hart. And congrats to our 4th place unified SMR 800k Relay, Alice Casey, Haydn Montgomery, Justin Carnahan, Maya Rogers, Ben Griffin, Josiah Baxter. And congrats to Unified 100m Dash runners, Ben Griffin and Haydyn Montgomery, who became the 1st Unified pair in Peninsula history to qualify for the State Track Meet in an individual event. Competing against 40 of the best Unified pairs from across Washington, Ben and Haydyn finished an outstanding 16th place in the State, placing them in the top half of all competitors.
- Interested in trying swimming or diving but hesitant to compete? PHS Swim & Dive is offering summer training starting today! Right after school, the pool will be open for any student who is interested. Swim will be hosting practice 2:30 pm - 4:30pm M-F through the last day of school, when we switch to a different schedule. We hope to see you there!
- Interest in playing for our girls soccer team in the fall? The meeting will be in coach B's classroom during both lunches this Wednesday, June 10th in room 623. We will be discussing summer and fall plans. Contact Coach B if you have any questions,
- Seniors (and all staff and students): Stop by the Senior Swag table at lunches starting today through the 5th to send a note and gift to a graduating senior! Key Club is hosting a fundraiser table with Senior Swag featuring grad teddy bears and class of 2026 grad key chains for sale (cash only), and then they'll be delivered to a senior next week with a special note you can write attached to show some love. Seniors: this might be the last time you get to send a fun surprise to a friend in class at PHS so stop by during both lunches to buy and send one! FYI: We need to know the 4th period teacher of the recipients.
- It's that time of year when we start thinking about Seahawk 101! We need volunteers for the event and this is a great opportunity for YOU to start collecting your volunteer hours for next year and to get involved at PHS. Go to our Class of 202x Info Schoology course, Materials tab and Seahawk 101 folder to find the link to sign up. Any questions, just ask Mrs Demianiw. Thank you!
- PoC is hosting our annual Powder Puff game again! Sign ups are in the lunchroom during both lunches. The event is on June 11th. Gather your team and don't miss out on this fun event!
- Seniors, Deadline for Guest Prom forms is Wednesday, June 3. This form is only if you are bringing a NON PHS Student. Don’t delay.
