1. Tomorrow in the library, the FRC is hosting a hiring fair from 9–11 and 12–2. Bring your resume and connect with local employers, including the YMCA, Dairy Queen, PSD, military branches, and more. A list of additional businesses currently hiring will also be available. Questions? See Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson.
2. Clean out those closets and help support “Sammy’s Closet,” our teen thrift store project! AVID 11 is currently collecting new and lightly used clothing before school at the ASB window, and donations are ongoing. All donations will be tracked by Homeroom class, and the class with the most donations will win DONUTS! So bring your items and help make our thrift store event a success!
3. Hawk Shoppe is now selling milkshakes on Thursdays and Fridays! Come in during lunch and get a drink, we take Credit cards and Cash.
4. Attention Juniors! On Wednesday, May 13, have your Social Security Number available to create your FAFSA ID (FSA ID) for future financial aid and FAFSA access. Questions? Contact Ms. Hays.
5. Interested in construction careers? The Future Readiness Center is hosting a field trip on May 15 to explore construction jobs and operate machinery. Pick up forms in the FRC and return them by Wednesday, May 13.
