- Congratulations to PHS Key Club for receiving the Bronze Division award for Service from the Pacific Northwest Division Conference last weekend. By giving up several Fridays and Saturdays around the holidays, students helped raise over $1,000 for Gig Harbor's FISH Food Bank hosting a customer donation table at Safeway. Thanks to new officers Secretary Olivia Furer and Vice President Zelmay Khan for attending the District Convention all weekend to represent PHS very well and to accept this Key Club award - way to go!
- Congrats to our Concert Band, Symphonic Band, and Wind Symphony ALL received Superior ratings at the COMBMEA Concert Band Festival today! Since announcements are short, if you're able to add this, I would really appreciate it!
- The Future Readiness Center is taking a trip to UW Tacoma for the College Planning Day event. 2 & 4 year private and public colleges from around Washington will be there presenting their schools and programs. This is a really great opportunity to hear about multiple schools in one place. This trip is for juniors, but we can take other students as space allows. Permission forms are available in the FRC!
- Senior athletes! This is your reminder to submit the Ben Cheney Scholarship application! The deadline is approaching THIS SUNDAY, March 15th, so be sure to get it in! If you need more info, see the Class of 2026 Schoology page or the Ben Cheney website.
- Just a reminder that there is No School this Friday, March 13.
