  1. Good luck to ALL of our Band students headed to their annual assessment, the COMBMEA Concert Band Festival at Mt. Tahoma. We know you'll represent PHS so well!   Also congrats to our Wind Symphony for a great performance at Western Washington University's Wind Festival this past Saturday. They received high compliments from adjudicators and audience members alike for playing college level music at such a high level! We are PHS Proud of you!
  2. The Future Readiness Center is taking a trip to UW Tacoma for the College Planning Day event. 2 & 4 year private and public colleges from around Washington will be there presenting their schools and programs. This is a really great opportunity to hear about multiple schools in one place. This trip is for juniors, but we can take other students as space allows. Permission forms are available in the FRC!
  3. Senior athletes!  This is your reminder to submit the Ben Cheney Scholarship application!  The deadline is approaching THIS SUNDAY, March 15th, so be sure to get it in!  If you need more info, see the Class of 2026 Schoology page or the Ben Cheney website. 
  4. Just a reminder that there is No School this Friday, March 13.
  5. It's Classified Staff Appreciation Week at PHS! We want to say a big THANK YOU to all of our support staff. This includes our secretaries in the main office & counseling, attendance, kitchen staff, custodians, paraprofessionals, security, health tech, registrar, & bookkeeper. When you see them this week, be sure to thank them for making PHS awesome and for supporting us every day! Thank you!
