- Good morning, Seahawks! While most of us were relaxing over Mid-Winter break, your Seahawk wrestlers were busy making history at the Mat Classic State Tournament! Our Girls' team took the state by storm, bringing home an incredible 3rd place team finish and crowning TWO State Champions! Bailey Parker, who secured her 3rd State Title—becoming the first-ever 3-time champion in school history! And a huge shoutout to Lindsey Shipp, now a 2-time State Champion! Rounding out the podium for the women were Olivia Howell and Justus Johnson in 3rd, Georgina Johnson in 6th, and Paige Powers and Lyla Klingler in 8th. What a season! On the boys' side, Senior Nemo Grandorff capped off a phenomenal career with a 5th-place finish, and Bryce Tillman battled his way to 7th! Congratulations to David Howard, Tyler Sievers, Aaron Nickels, Ben Griffin, Johann Powers, Cash Cano, and Peyton Beckett for representing us with pride at the Dome.
