- Today kicks off CTE Month which includes visits in the Future Readiness Center from a variety of career professionals! Come hear about careers in Welding, Real Estate, Masonry and Acting, as well as school visits from Bates, Clover Park, Olympic College and West Sound Tech. Today the Central Academy of Dental Assisting will be in the FRC at 8:30, tomorrow you can learn about Nursing and other medical careers, and Thursday the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard will be discussing the Work Study Program. Again, come learn about careers in the dental industry at 8:30 in the FRC!
- It's not too late to turn in your permission form to go on the Olympic College Tour field trip! There are still spots available, so make sure you bring up completed forms to the Future Readiness Center to secure your spot on the bus!
- If you are thinking of going to GH TCC next year for Running Start and would like more information, please attend the GH TCC informational meeting Tuesday February 3rd. They have 2 sessions, 4:30-5:30 and 6:30-7:30pm, please RSVP with the QR code in the counseling office.
- Are you interested in playing softball for PHS this spring? Open gyms have begun and are on Monday/Thursday 7-9pm. For more information, please see Coach Hughes in the Counseling Center.
- Attention current girls athletes: You are invited to the 2026 “Your Voice Matters” event hosted by the Girls and Women in Sports Club at Curtis High School. This event is designed to coincide with National Girls & Women in Sports Day. It’s all about celebrating, encouraging, and empowering current, future, and former female athletes and fans. All ages are welcome, and the night is sure to inspire everyone who attends! Tuesday, Feb 3, 6 PM, at Curtis HS.
