- Our AVID Teacher of the Month for January is... Mrs Hutcheson-Kendall. Here's what AVID Club has to say about her: Her classroom models AVID strategies where she empowers students through organized, focused note-taking and meaningful interaction with their materials. By prioritizing the use of planners and calendars alongside focused reading strategies, she ensures her students develop the organizational habits necessary for long-term success. Beyond the curriculum, she fosters a community of teamwork through collaborative groups and inspires her students by sharing her own post-secondary experiences, making the path to higher education feel clear and achievable for everyone. - Seniors & Juniors, would you like to visit the Olympic College campus? The Future Readiness Center is taking students on a tour of the school and an opportunity to learn more about programs offered there. This is especially helpful for students who are already planning on attending OC next year. Permission forms are in the Future Readiness Center, and due back by February 2nd. Spots are limited!
- The Found Club will meet today, Thursday after school in room 516. We are a group of students who meet every other week to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend.
- If you are thinking of going to GH TCC next year for Running Start and would like more information, please attend the GH TCC informational meeting Tuesday February 3rd. They have 2 sessions, 4:30-5:30 and 6:30-7:30pm, please RSVP with the QR code in the counseling office.
- Are you interested in playing softball for PHS this spring? Open gyms have begun and are on Monday/Thursday 7-9pm. For more information, please see Coach Hughes in the Counseling Center.
