- Congratulations to our 2025- 2026 Poetry Out Loud school-wide champion, Shae Dooley! Shae will represent Peninsula High School at the regional competition in Olympia. And, congratulations to our second-place winner, Gwen Medbury! PHS proud! Awesome work.
- Native Education Group will be meeting in the Library at 8:30 today.
- The Found Club will have our first meeting of 2026 this Thursday after school in room 516. We are a group of students who meet every other week to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend.
- The Oregon Institute of Technology will be in the Future Readiness Center today during 2nd period to talk about the programs they offer, like Sonography, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, and Construction Management. Check in with your teacher first, then head to the FRC!
- Hey Seahawks! Stressed about finals? Need a place to relax and study? Need some help on core subjects? Stop by after school on Tuesday, January 20th from 2:30-4:00 in the Commons, and study with your fellow peers. We will have tables for each core subject and helpers there to assist you when needed. Start your week off strong next week Seahawks and get ahead of your finals! See you there.
- Seniors: just a reminder that if you have not already filled out your FAFSA now is the time. Be sure to fill out the 26-27 form. If you need support or help please see Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson in the Future Readiness Center. Also, ALL seniors MUST update their FAFSA/WASFA status in School Links as a part of your high school and beyond plan. Go to School Links (in student portal), College (left side of screen) , College Financing , and Update Status (blue box at top left of screen).
