Be Comfy, Be You 

1. Good morning, Seahawks! Happy Wednesday and welcome to Kindness in Action day for Unified/Empathy Week! Today’s dress-up theme is Be Comfy, Be You—a reminder that our school is a place where everyone should feel safe, accepted, and comfortable being themselves. Unified Club and Sports show us what kindness looks like in action—lifting each other up, being patient, and celebrating every effort. As you enjoy your comfy clothes or PJs today, remember that kindness is what truly makes people feel comfortable at school. And don’t forget—tomorrow is All Mixed Up Thursday! Start planning your mismatched outfit to celebrate what makes each of us unique.
2. Interested in playing soccer this upcoming Spring.  Coach B will have an informational meeting during both lunches in his classroom, room 623 this Thursday December 11.  So, get your lunch and head on over to his classroom during your lunch. 
3. We invite everyone to join us at the Winter Social THIS Thursday after school from 2 - 330pm in the Commons! We will have games, karaoke and lots of fun! There will be cocoa, pizza and ornaments to decorate for $1 each. Come join us for an afternoon for our Seahawks to be TOGETHER. 
4. Hey Seahawks- Thursday December 11th, we are having our Winter Concert Bands Concert with our 3 traditional concert bands. We will have a great mix of holiday favorites and classic tunes. Our Marching Band will also close out the night on the 11th for one last performance! You'll definitely want to come check these out- FREE and in the Auditorium at 7pm night! Hope to see you there!
5. Calling all actors! The PHS Film Club is having an open casting call next week for this year's short films. Audition for the chance to star in one of our Film Club's short film projects. Come try out and you could be on the big screen at this year's PHS Film Festival! Auditions are next Wednesday the 10th and Thursday the 11th @ 2:30 in room 518.
6. Interested in video game design or programming? The Academy of Interactive Entertainment located in Seattle will be in the Future Readiness Center on Friday at 12:00. Visits are open to all grades, but you need to check in with your teacher first before coming to the Future Readiness Center.
