1. Over the weekend, our cheer team brought the energy to River Ridge, competing with more than 20 high schools. Our cheer team earned an impressive 2nd place in the medium non-tumbling division. 
2. During 5th period, a representative of the United States Naval Academy will give a brief in classroom 609.  Anyone interested in learning more about Naval academy admissions, please make arrangements with your 5th period teacher to attend. 
3. Please come to the cafeteria today for our annual turkey gravy day! We are serving mashed potatoes with turkey gravy, corn, rolls and apple crisp. Please stop by for a delicious PHS tradition and Happy Thanksgiving from your lunch staff.
4. Are you an out of season athlete looking to get faster? "Speed Club" is a FREE after school training group designed to help athletes improve their speed in preparation for upcoming sports seasons. Sessions will be Monday, Wednesday, Friday from 2:20 - 4 pm starting Dec. 1st. We will meet each day at the PHS track unless otherwise noted. For more information talk to Mr. Hall in Room W3. 
5. Hey Seahawks! We have a gift drive coming up to help those in need in our community. Please donate your gifts to the ASB Window before school from December 1st to the 5th.Our focus is on teens, but any donations of unwrapped gifts for children age 1 - 17 are accepted. Let's come together to give our community gifts this holiday season!
6. Hey Seniors - this one’s for you!  AVID Club is hosting a Scholarship Notebook Workshop. Come get help with your Scholarship Notebook pages - Personal Data Sheet, Personal Statement, picture pages, how to ask for a letter of rec and more! Scholarship Notebook turn in day is right after Winter Break - wouldn’t you like to have it all done before break so that you can rest easy? Mark your calendar for Thurs, Dec 4th at 2:15pm in room 515 so you don’t miss out! Snacks will also be provided.
