1. Seniors! Do you need some help with the college application process? Our PHS counseling team will be hosting the last Lunch & Launch sessions to assist you with college and post-HS planning. Head up to the Counseling Office for some college application assistance and feel free to bring your lunch! See you there!
2. Attention Key Club members and those interested in joining! Don’t forget — your dues must be paid to become an official member and participate in Key Club’s community service events. Pay by November 15th to receive a 35% discount on dues! After November 15th through November 24th, dues will be $15.50. Contact Mr Pinneo for more information! We can't wait to see you there
3. This is your sign to join the ASL Club! Come learn American Sign Language, make new friends, and join the conversation — without saying a word!  Meeting today from 2:10 to 3:10 in Room W8 with Mrs. Clifford.  No experience needed — Come see what everyone’s signing about! 
4. Due to the rising popularity of the sport and a high number of sign-ups, we will be holding tryouts for both JV and Varsity Girls Flag Football — Make sure you are registered in Final Forms. Tryouts will begin on November 17. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Campbell or Coach Buys.
5. Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class Thursdays at room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!    
6. In honor of Veterans Day, did you know that the Navajo language was used during World War II and remained completely unbreakable by the enemy? Common military terms were translated into Navajo— for example, “fighter plane” was represented by the word for “hummingbird,” and “bomber” was translated as “buzzard.”
