Election Day
- Seniors, Scholarship notebooks, cost $10 are on sale in the commons during both lunches. They can take cash or card!
- Do you need volunteer hours? Go to room 401, TODAY, from 2:05-3 for Environmental Club's campus cleanup. We hope to see you there!
- Due to the rising popularity of the sport and a high number of sign-ups, we will be holding tryouts for both JV and Varsity Girls Flag Football — Make sure you are registered in Final Forms. Tryouts will begin on November 17. If you have any questions, please contact Coach Campbell or Coach Buys..
- We will be honoring our Veterans at an assembly on Wed, Nov 5th. We will run a Miracle Minute to help an awesome cause called Honor Flight which we've served in the past. If you don't know about it, we will learn more at the assembly as well as during Homeroom in the upcoming weeks. Please remember to bring anything you can spare to donate to our Veterans Day cause on Wednesday! Thank you so much.
- Whitworth College will be here at 9:30. Visits are open to everyone! Visits are open to all grades.
- The Found Club will meet this Thursday in room 516 after school. We are a group of Peninsula students who meet bi-weekly to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend.
- SENIORS! Donate blood successfully twice this year and be eligible for a red chord on graduation. See Mrs. Murphy for details. Sign up to donate blood for your community. HOSA is hosting the blood drive on Wednesday and Thursday (NOV. 5 & 6th) this week. SIgn up through the QR codes on posters. Students 16 and 17 can donate with parent signed permission and a picture ID. Be sure to eat a hearty meal before donating. Earn a $10 amazon gift card and some snacks. See Mrs. Murphy in 105 for any questions.
- Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class Tuesdays and Thursdays at room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!
- Congratulations to Girls swim and Dive on an outstanding performance at the district championships on Friday and Saturday! Event winners include Lee Gjertson in the 50 and 100 free, as well as a team of Boe Ballard, Reese Miller, Sophia Evers, and Lee Gjertson in the 200 Free Relay. With some top 12 finishes from the likes of Meadow Mossberg, Ellen Lassen, Sydney Gardner, Ryan Garrels, Sophia Evers, Boe Ballard, Aliyah Newton, and Jewel Gullum, the Hawks placed 3rd overall out of 19 teams, solidifying themselves 10 qualifications to state in the process. Go Hawks!
- PoC Club meets today after school at 2:15pm in Mrs Demianiw's room 515. Come join in the fun as we plan our events for the year! Snacks are provided. See you there!
- AVID Club meets this Thursday at 2:15pm in Mrs Demianiw's room 515. We are planning our events for the year and need your help! You don't need to be in AVID to be in the club. This is a great way to get involved! Hope you can make it!
