- Thirteen PHS runners are headed to the State Cross Country Championship this week. The Boys team finished third at District over the weekend. They battled fierce competition through slick mud and punishing wind to total our lowest (and best) score in fifteen years. Congrats to Wyatt Harding, Nolan Winderl, Palmer Schumacher, Wilson Shipp, Ethan Ericson, Zachary Saxon, Ben Johnson, Nathaniel Hulsey, and Baxter Balogh. The Girls team advanced four runners to State. Congrats to Ascher Lascheck, Isabella Easley, Megan Dyer, and Anya Bierman. The runners depart Friday morning and race Saturday afternoon in Pasco.
- We will be honoring our Veterans at an assembly on Wed, Nov 5th. We will run a Miracle Minute to help an awesome cause called Honor Flight which we've served in the past. If you don't know about it, we will learn more at the assembly as well as during Homeroom in the upcoming weeks. Please remember to bring anything you can spare to donate to our Veterans Day cause on Wednesday! Thank you so much.
- Arizona State University will be in the Career Center at 12:30. Tomorrow, Whitworth will be here at 9:30. Visits are open to everyone! Visits are open to all grades.
- HOSA is proud to announce our first blood drive of the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday Nov. 5 and Thursday Nov. 6th. You may sign up with the QR code on posters throughout the school or during lunches in the Commons. Students aged 16 years and up can donate with a signed parental consent form and photo ID. Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids before you donate. Contact Mrs.Murphy in Room 105 with questions.
- Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class Tuesdays and Thursdays at room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!
- Something is Rotten in the State of Denmark! Come one, come all to see the Staged Reading Production of the Tragedy of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark. Set in the middle of World War II, Hamlet is a prince who struggles to avenge his father's foul murder. The actors are ready, the stage is set, all we need is YOU. Shows are November, 7-8th and 12-14th. Evening shows are at 6 pm with two Saturday matinees at 2 pm. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday. $8 for students with ASB and $10 for students without, See you there Seahawks!
