Happy Halloween
- We will be honoring our Veterans at an assembly on Wed, Nov 5th. We will run a Miracle Minute to help an awesome cause called Honor Flight which we've served in the past. If you don't know about it, we will learn more at the assembly as well as during Homeroom in the upcoming weeks. Please remember to bring anything you can spare to donate to our Veterans Day cause on Wednesday! Thank you so much.
- WSU will be in the Library today at 12:00. Go Cougs!
- AVID Club would like to announce our AVID Teacher of the Month for October! Please congratulate Mrs Osera! Here is why she was selected - Mrs Osera uses AVID strategies such as note taking, socratic seminars, learning logs and organizational techniques. She is a great example because she is organized and that helps us be organized students. She also uses collaboration strategies which help us learn to communicate with other students. Lastly, Mrs Osera is supportive to her students and encourages creative thinking. Keep making us PHS Proud!
- On Monday, Arizona State University will be in the Career Center at 12:30. Visits are open to all grades.
- HOSA is proud to announce our first blood drive of the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday Nov. 5 and Thursday Nov. 6th. You may sign up with the QR code on posters throughout the school or during lunches in the Commons. Students aged 16 years and up can donate with a signed parental consent form and photo ID. Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids before you donate. Contact Mrs.Murphy in Room 105 with questions.
- Do you love spending time in nature? Join Environmental Club this Saturday, November 1st for our first hike of the year. We will be meeting at Guillemot Cove at 11 am. Message us on Instagram at phs.environclub for any questions.
- Something is Rotten in the State of Denmark! Come one, come all to see the Staged Reading Production of the Tragedy of Hamlet, the Prince of Denmark. Set in the middle of World War II, Hamlet is a prince who struggles to avenge his father's foul murder. The actors are ready, the stage is set, all we need is YOU. Shows are November, 7-8th and 12-14th. Evening shows are at 6 pm with two Saturday matinees at 2 pm. Tickets go on sale next Tuesday. $8 for students with ASB and $10 for students without, See you there Seahawks!
