Color Wars

 

  1. We’re wrapping up our Spooky Spirit Week tomorrow on Halloween. You can wear any Halloween inspired outfit or a costume as long as you follow these simple guidelines - It MUST be school appropriate; There can be NO masks or face coverings/makeup of any kind; There can be no weapons at all, even if they are just for play. If in doubt, don’t wear it and choose something else. Thanks for your cooperation.
  2. Homework Club has ghosted you today (10/30) — See you next week. 👻
  3. Today, the University of Oregon will be in the Career Center at 9:30, tomorrow WSU will be here at 12:00.
  4. Are you interested in apprenticeships or jobs in Plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Engineering, Construction, Paving, Healthcare, Maritime, Virtual Design, Electrical and much more?  Come to the Future Readiness Center to sign up for the Korsmo Trades and Hiring Fair!   You will have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals, hear about job opportunities, as well as hands-on activities, and learn about opportunities across industries and career pathways in the trades. If interested, sign up in the Future Readiness Center with Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson, first come first served!  Students MUST sign up in the Future Readiness Center! 
  5. Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class today at room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!  
  6. HOSA is proud to announce our first blood drive of the 2025-26 school year on Wednesday Nov. 5 and Thursday Nov. 6th. You may sign up with the QR code on posters throughout the school or during lunches in the Commons. Students aged 16 years and up can donate with a signed parental consent form and photo ID. Eat a hearty meal and drink plenty of fluids before you donate. Contact Mrs.Murphy in Room 105 with questions.
  7. Do you love spending time in nature? Join Environmental Club this Saturday, November 1st for our first hike of the year. We will be meeting at Guillemot Cove at 11 am. Message us on Instagram at phs.environclub for any questions.
