Time Travel

1. We’re having fun with Spooky Spirit Week! Join us tomorrow as we celebrate Croctober! Wear any Crocs (or slides or Birks).
2. If you are signed up for the PSAT, please report to the Aux Gym at this time.
3. Congratulations to Coach Nugent who earned the Puget Sound League Cross Country Coach of the year
4. Today in the Career Center, PLU will be here at 9:30, Thursday, University of Oregon at 9:30 and Friday, WSU will be here at 12:00.
5. Seniors! Do you need some help with the college application process? Our PHS counseling team will be hosting four Lunch & Launch sessions to assist you with college and post-HS planning. For the next 4 Wednesdays (including 10/22), head up to the Counseling Office for some college application assistance and feel free to bring your lunch! See you there!
6. Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class Tuesdays and Thursdays at room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!  
7. This is your sign to join the ASL Club! Come learn American Sign Language, make new friends, and join the conversation — without saying a word!  Meeting on Wednesdays from 2:10 to 3:10 in Room W8 with Mrs. Clifford.  No experience needed — Come see what everyone’s signing about! 
8. Last chance for Pickleball Drop Ins is Today!  Drops Ins are $5 from 530 - 7pm in the Aux Gym. We’ve got you covered if you need a paddle. Bring your signed waiver which you can get from the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room.  Sign ups for the tournament are in the Commons all this week. Students and staff can play. Grab a partner or sign up on the list of free agents if you need a partner and we will match you up with someone.
9. Starting this week, there will be no food or drinks in the gym during lunch time. Please eat your lunch, then go to play ball in the gym. Big thank you to those that eat in the bleachers outside for picking up after yourselves, it is very much appreciated.

Are you interested in apprenticeships or jobs in Plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Engineering, Construction, Paving, Healthcare, Maritime, Virtual Design, Electrical and much more?  Come to the Future Readiness Center to sign up for the Korsmo Trades and Hiring Fair!   You will have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals, hear about job opportunities, as well as hands-on activities, and learn about opportunities across industries and career pathways in the trades. If interested, sign up in the Future Readiness Center with Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson, first come first served!  Students MUST sign up in the Future Readiness Center!
