1. Today in the Career Center, Montana State University will be visiting at 8:30. Visits are open to all grades. Stop by if you'd like to hear more about them! 
2. Wednesday night, the Boys' Water Polo team hosted Puyallup. There was a lot riding on this game -- Puyallup was the only team to defeat us this year in league, so we knew it was going to be a battle. The game did not start in our favor, as we were down 7-2 at halftime; we knew we had our work cut out for us. After a battle in the second half, we tied the game up with minutes left to go into overtime. After breaking even in overtime, we had a rare double overtime, a sudden-death situation. Brandon Plitkins won the face-off sprint, and we called our last timeout. We ran a play and Cullen Stitt scored the game winner from the 12 meter, forever known as the "shot heard around the sound." It was an electric finish that solidified 1st place in our league. Well done, gentlemen, well done! 
3. Next week we are having a Spooky Spirit Week!  Plan ahead!  The days are Mummy Monday - wear white; Time Travel Tuesday - Throwback to any Era; Wednesday we celebrate Croctober - wear your Crocs or any slides; Thursday is Color Wars - Freshmen Orange, Sophomores Purple, Juniors Green & Seniors Black Staff pick the color of your Homeroom or your choice; and Friday is Costume or Halloween Spirit. Some rules apply for costumes - must be school appropriate, no masks or face coverings & absolutely no weapons even if they are just for play. Join in on the fun!
4. The Peninsula High Key Club is partnering with BBQ2U for a special fundraiser running now through October 26th.  Enjoy a delicious meal — dine in or take out — and simply drop your receipt in the Key Club donation jar by the cash register to support our club’s service projects.
