1. Next week we are having a Spooky Spirit Week!  Plan ahead!  The days are Mummy Monday - wear white; Time Travel Tuesday - Throwback to any Era; Wednesday we celebrate Croctober - wear your Crocs or any slides; Thursday is Color Wars - Freshmen Orange, Sophomores Purple, Juniors Green & Seniors Black Staff pick the color of your Homeroom or your choice; and Friday is Costume or Halloween Spirit. Some rules apply for costumes - must be school appropriate, no masks or face coverings & absolute no weapons even if they are just for play. Join in on the fun!
2. Need volunteer hours? Purdy ES needs help this Thursday, Oct 23 at their Monster Mash, from 5 - 6:30. The sign up link is in the Volunteer folder in their Class of 202x Schoology course.  Students can receive volunteer hours. Mrs Demianiw will sign off on them.
3. The Found Club will meet this Thursday after school in room 516. We are a group of students who meet every other week to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend.
4. The Peninsula High Key Club is partnering with BBQ2U for a special fundraiser running now through October 26th.  Enjoy a delicious meal — dine in or take out — and simply drop your receipt in the Key Club donation jar by the cash register to support our club’s service projects.
5. Seniors! Our PHS counseling team will be hosting the first of four Lunch & Launch sessions today to assist you with college and post-HS planning. For the next 4 Wednesdays (including today), head up to the Counseling Office for some college application assistance and feel free to bring your lunch! See you there!
6. Are you interested in dance, performing, or being part of a fun team activity? Come check out the Peninsula Combined Winter Color Guard! We’re having an interest meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 4 to 5 PM at Peninsula High School. No experience is needed — everyone is welcome!  If you have any questions, email Ms. Bundrick at bundrickc@psd401.net
7. Knowledge Bowl Come Thursday to Mr. Kendall's room for competitive trivia games, snacks, and more!   
8. Pickleball Drop Ins are on Thursday, October 23rd this week!  Only two more chances to get ready before the big Tournament on November 1st. Drops Ins are $5 from 530 - 7pm in the Aux Gym. We’ve got you covered if you need a paddle. Bring your signed waiver which you can get from the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room.  Sign ups for the tournament are in the Commons all this week and next week. Students and staff can play. Grab a partner or sign up on the list of free agents if you need a partner and we will match you up with someone.
