- Today is that last day to sign up for the PSAT! Please come sign up with the bookkeeper to get your name added to the list. This is for 10th and 11th grade students only.
- Need volunteer hours? Purdy ES needs help this Thursday at their Monster Mash, from 5 - 6:30. The sign up link is in the Volunteer folder in their Class of 202x Schoology course. Students can receive volunteer hours. Mrs Demianiw will sign off on them.
- PoC Club is meeting Today at 2:15pm in Mrs Demianiw's room 515. We hope you'll join us as we plan out some of our beginning activities of the year! ALL are welcome
- The Peninsula High Key Club is partnering with BBQ2U for a special fundraiser running now through October 26th. Enjoy a delicious meal — dine in or take out — and simply drop your receipt in the Key Club donation jar by the cash register to support our club’s service projects.
- Seniors! Do you need some help with the college application process? Our PHS counseling team will be hosting four Lunch & Launch sessions to assist you with college and post-HS planning. For the next 4 Wednesdays (including 10/22), head up to the Counseling Office for some college application assistance and feel free to bring your lunch! See you there!
- Are you interested in dance, performing, or being part of a fun team activity? Come check out the Peninsula Combined Winter Color Guard! We’re having an interest meeting on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 4 to 5 PM at Peninsula High School. No experience is needed — everyone is welcome! - Knowledge Bowl is cancelled today, Tuesday October 21st. Come back on Thursday in Mr. Kendall's room for competitive trivia games, snacks, and more!
- Are you interested in apprenticeships or jobs in Plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Engineering, Construction, Paving, Healthcare, Maritime, Virtual Design, Electrical and much more? Come to the Future Readiness Center to sign up for the Korsmo Trades and Hiring Fair! You will have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals, hear about job opportunities, as well as hands-on activities, and learn about opportunities across industries and career pathways in the trades. If interested, sign up in the Future Readiness Center with Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson, first come first served! Students MUST sign up in the Future Readiness Center! (The Career Center)
- Pickleball Drop Ins are on Thursday, October 23rd this week! Only two more chances to get ready before the big Tournament on November 1st. Drops Ins are $5 from 530 - 7pm in the Aux Gym. We’ve got you covered if you need a paddle. Bring your signed waiver which you can get from the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room. Sign ups for the tournament are in the Commons all this week and next week. Students and staff can play. Grab a partner or sign up on the list of free agents if you need a partner and we will match you up with someone.
