1. Are you interested in apprenticeships or jobs in Plumbing, HVAC, Welding, Engineering, Construction, Paving, Healthcare, Maritime, Virtual Design, Electrical and much more?  Come to the Future Readiness Center to sign up for the Korsmo Trades and Hiring Fair!   You will have the opportunity to talk to industry professionals, hear about job opportunities, as well as hands-on activities, and learn about opportunities across industries and career pathways in the trades. If interested, sign up in the Future Readiness Center with Ms. Hays or Ms. Jackson, first come first served!  Students MUST sign up in the Future Readiness Center! (The Career Center)
2. Pickleball Drop Ins are on Thursday, October 23rd this week!  Only two more chances to get ready before the big Tournament on November 1st. Drops Ins are $5 from 530 - 7pm in the Aux Gym. We’ve got you covered if you need a paddle. Bring your signed waiver which you can get from the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room.  Sign ups for the tournament are in the Commons all this week and next week. Students and staff can play. Grab a partner or sign up on the list of free agents if you need a partner and we will match you up with someone.
3. Congratulations to 13 Band students for being selected via audition into the Western International Band Clinic Honor Bands for 2025! They were selected out of hundreds of auditions from the Northwest and beyond. They will work with 6 world renowned composers and conductors over the weekend of November 21-24th in Seatac, WA and perform a concert to conclude the weekend.  Congratulations to Jacob Avalos, Audrey Derr, Noah Wahala, Lee Gjertson, Sofie Babbitt, Fiona Palilonis, James Kane, Devan Pomeroy, Nat Chonzena, Emma Barnes, Aria Donohue, Christian Alpers, and Carson Shipman!
