- After beating Stadium in a very close (6-4) first match-up of the year, the Boys' Polo team was ready to host Stadium at home on Thursday night, knowing they were coming for revenge! Little did they know that team captains Brandon Picklens and Theo Middleton would get the team fired up to defend in our home pool. After a fast-paced match, we came out victorious 14-6! The Boys' Water Polo team is 7-1 with our next league match against Silas HS!
- Congrats to our Award Winning PHS Marching Band for their fantastic performance at the Sunset Festival of Bands in Sumner, WA this past Saturday! They scored Second overall, narrowly missing 1st, amongst 8 other bands with a personal record breaking score, along with winning Best Percussion and Best Drum Major out of the whole festival and Most Improvement in score from 1st performance to 2nd performance of the day! The Marching Band represented PHS with shining light and we are so PHS Proud of you!
- People of Color Club is having their first meeting of the year TODAY, Tues 10/14 at 2:15pm after school in Mrs Demianiw's room 515. Please join us as we start planning for the school year! EVERYONE is welcome!
- Tomorrow night, stop by the YMCA anytime between 5-7pm for the College and Career Fair! This is open to all students and families. There will be 2 and 4 year colleges and technical schools, as well as representatives from the military, apprenticeships and employment opportunities!
- The Girls Wrestling team is holding an interest meeting on Wed Oct 15 in Room 501 during both lunches. Come see what it's all about and bring a friend! Play a sport? But not in the winter?? Reach out to Mr Griffin, Mr Nickels, or have a chat with Georgina Johnson, Paige Powers, or the Robles sisters. We are open to everyone and look forward to meeting you.
- Knowledge Bowl this week! Come to Mr. Kendall's class today and Thursday to room 208, for competitive trivia, snacks, and more!

- We have Pickleball Drop Ins this week on Tuesday, October 14th - the Thurs night time is CANCELLED due to the Mariners game. All skill levels are welcome and there are people there to help you learn how to play! Get ready for the tournament on NOVEMBER 1st. $5 from 530 - 7pm in the Aux Gym. Bring your signed waiver that you can get from the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room. See you tonight.
