Monopoly Dress Up or Dress Down

1. See you at both lunches today for a spirit competition you won't want to miss!  Tomorrow's spirit day is Color Wars - Seniors wear yellow, Juniors pink, Sophomores blue and Freshmen red.  Today in Homeroom you will be voting on Homecoming Court! Voting closes at 2pm.  Don’t miss out!
2. The PHS Gender-Sexuality Alliance Club will meet this Thursday from 2 to 3 in room 207. GSA Club is a safe space to play games, make friends, or just chill.
3. Monday night, the Boys' Water Polo team traveled to Stadium High for a tough division match-up. Knowing Stadium beat the only team to defeat us this year, we knew we had to come prepared. Tied up 6-6 in the 4th quarter, our team came out victorious 10-8! Tyler Hoeschen scored the last goal, giving us a two-score advantage with 1 minute left in the game, sealing our victory. Huge congratulations to our entire team for winning a significant contest! Boys' Water Polo is 4-1 heading into our Wednesday home game against Lakes at 5:30 pm! 
4. AVID Club is starting up again for the 2025-26 school year!  All students are welcome! Our first meeting is THIS THURSDAY, Oct 2nd from 2:15 - 3pm in Mrs Demianiw's room 515. We'll be getting to know each other and talking about our plan for the school year. Hope to see you there!
5. Buenos Dìas y Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! El Pueblito, Puerto Vallarta & El Guero are a few Hispanic/Latino businesses nearby you should support this month in celebration! 
6. PHS Knowledge Bowl Starts Tuesday, October 6th! Come meet us in Mr Kendall's Room at 2:00, #208, for fun trivia games, snacks, and more! 
7. Homecoming Food Drive. We can do this! All donations will go directly to Food Backpack 4 Kids.  Please drop off your donations before school starts each day at the ASB window. The competition ends Friday morning!  Let’s show our school pride by filling those bins and helping our community. Together, we can make this food drive a huge success!
8. Pickleball Drop-ins this week are on THURSDAY, Oct 2nd.  It’s $5 from 530 - 730pm in the Aux Gym. The weather report is calling for rain - so come inside and get your workout in!  Remember to fill out a liability waiver available in the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room and have it signed by your parents in order to play ahead of time. Just bring it with you when you come. Don’t miss out!  Get ready for the big tournament on November 1st!
