1. Today in the Career Center, Corban University will be visiting at 9:30 (this is a change) and Embry-Riddle at 12:00. This is open to all grades and you don't need to register to attend.
2. PHS Cross Country dominated the PSL Nisqually Division on Wednesday night in Lacey. Facing our five division rivals, all four PHS teams came away with victories. Girls Varsity won by a wide margin of 31 points over second place Capital, while Boys Varsity managed a 24 point win over second place Lakes. Girls JV and Boys JV both secured first place team finishes as well. Mark your calendars for Cross Country's only home meet on Wed, Oct 15 at Roy Anderson Field.
3. Join Environmental Club next Tuesday, September 30 right after school in room 401. We'll be planning our first campus cleanup and hike, don't miss out!
4. Buenos Dìas y Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! El Pueblito, Puerto Vallarta & El Guero are a few Hispanic/Latino businesses nearby you should support this month in celebration!  
5. Hey Seahawks! This Saturday, September 27th, your PHS Band is hosting the Peninsula Classic here at Roy Anderson Field, a marching competition where bands from all over Washington State come to perform! PHS performs at 1pm, and again at 5:30pm, and all students with ASB get in for free! Come support YOUR award winning marching band!
6. Next week is the DEADLINE for the Washington DC trip during Mid-Winter break. Please sign up with Mr. Messersmith in room W5 as soon as possible.
7. Pickleball Drop-ins this week are today.  It’s $5 from 530 - 730pm in the Aux Gym. We have paddles if you need one. Anyone from PHS is welcome and it’s so much fun! You must fill out a liability waiver available in the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room and have it signed by your parents in order to play ahead of time. Just bring it with you when you come. Don’t miss out!
8. Hey Seahawks! Start getting your donations ready for the Homecoming Food Drive. It kicks off Monday and runs through October 3rd. All donations will go directly to Food Backpack 4 Kids. This is a class competition, you earn spirit points for each item that you bring in. But wait!, you can earn DOUBLE POINTS for granola bars, individual packs of goldfish crackers, fruit snacks & oatmeal packets. Please drop off your donations before school starts each day at the ASB window. Together, we can make this food drive a huge success!
