- Cross Country raced their first 5K of the season last Saturday at Fort Steilacoom Park. Facing 87 schools and nearly 3000 individual runners, both teams brought home hardware. Girls Varsity placed 2nd in the silver division, led by Sophomore Ascher Laschek, who placed 12th individually. Boys Varsity placed 3rd in the silver division, led by Sophomore Wyatt Harding's 2nd place individual finish. Mark your calendars for Cross Country's only home meet - Wednesday, October 15 at Roy Anderson Field.
- The Found Club will have our first meeting of the year this Thursday, September 25. We will meet after school in room 516. The Found Club is a group of students who meet to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend. Please see Mr. Rosson if you have any questions.
- Homecoming tickets are on sale at the Bookkeeper's window! It's $8 with ASB and $12 without. It will be $15 at the door, so be sure to get your tickets early. Guest forms are already available in the Main Office. This is the dance of the year, so don't miss out! Get them Early!
- Our first Speech & Debate practice of the season for new members is Thursday - September 25th at 3:15 in room 208! Come see what event is right for you, there is something for EVERYONE. Reach out to Miss Lancaster or captains Mars Burton and Alyssa Robinson if you have questions - See you there!
- Want to join Unified? Come to Unified Club next Thursday 9/25 @2:30 in room 210 or check out final forms to see what sports you might be interested in.
- Open Fall Workouts and Open Gym on Wednesday, September 24th are both cancelled due to Open House. And there will be no Open Fall Workout on September 29th, due to a Home Volleyball game, Only Late Open Gym in the Aux Gym from 7pm-8:30pm. If you have not attended an Open Fall Workout or Open gym before, please pick up and complete an Open Gym Agreement from the Athletic Office and bring signed by athlete and guardian to work out to participate. - Pickleball Drop-ins this week are on THURSDAY, Sept 25th. It’s $5 from 530 - 730pm in the Aux Gym. We have paddles if you need one. Anyone from PHS is welcome and it’s so much fun! You must fill out a liability waiver available in the Main Office or Mrs Demianiw’s room and have it signed by your parents in order to play ahead of time. Just bring it with you when you come. Don’t miss out!
