1. Your Peninsula Seahawks Boys Lacrosse team takes on Gig Harbor Lacrosse tonight at 8 pm at Roy Anderson Field! Let's pack the stands and cheer your 'Hawks on to a victory! Game Theme: Peninsula Out   

2. The Spring Musical needs a few more usher sign ups for each show day , so if you are able even for a little in the start that'd be super amazing! See Mr. Bullock in the auditorium.  

3.  The Found Club will meet this Thursday after school in the wood shop. We are a group of students from PHS who meet weekly to discuss Biblical topics from a modern perspective. All are welcome to attend.

4. Seniors and Juniors interested in Construction Trades Careers are invited to the Pierce County Construction Career Day on Friday, May 16th. It will be a great day of hands-on exploration of big machinery, building small projects, meeting experts in the field, and testing your skills. Pick up a permission form in the Career Center and hand it in by Thursday, May 8th. Questions? See Mrs. Amrine or Mrs. Jackson.

5. Your PHS tennis team played an incredible senior night match this Tuesday against the North Thurston Rams. Singles player Terissa Cottey beat her opponent in a powerful and swift 6-0 6-0. Singles number two Olivia Mercado played an equally impressive match, also winning both sets. Lastly, doubles team McKenna Baurichter and Margaux Mayer took a fast and merciless victory, taking the match in two clean sets. Be sure to support your tennis girls this Friday at 3pm home against Lincoln High School!

6. Girls lacrosse won out over Tahoma HS last night for a 16-9 win. Some highlights from the game were Olivia Van Someren scoring four goals while Katie Waida and Lauren Sievers each had three goals apiece. Sydney Schultz in the midfield along with Olivia led the team in draw controls while Anya Helgerson led in caused turnovers.The Riptides have one more normal season game tomorrow at Gig Harbor High School - JV at 5:00 and Varsity at 7:00.
