Pajama Day

1. This week AVID is hosting spirit week for the entire school!  Today is Roll out of bed in style for Pajama Day, Tuesday – Represent your grade with Class Colors Day, Wednesday – Top it off with Hat Day, Thursday – Rep your favorite team for Jersey Day, Friday – Show off your future with College Gear Day! 

2. Congratulations to your varsity and JV softball teams for big wins last week! Varsity capped off a great week with a massive win over Lakes, including a combined perfect game pitched by Meghan Webster and Vivien Sweet. The team hits the road this week for some tough competition so wish them luck! 

3. Good morning! ASB Applications are now OPEN! They are in the Elections folder in your Class of 202x Schoology Info course. Please read all of the information carefully before you submit. All applications and teacher recommendations are due by THIS FRIDAY, April 4th by 2pm. Thank you for your interest and we can't wait to have you as part of the ASB team!

4. Girls Lacrosse takes on Puyallup High School tonight for the second home game of the season. The  game will be played at Roy Anderson and will start at 7:15 PM - no paid admission is needed to get in - see you tonight!

5. Hey PHS! Get ready for the most exciting event of the year—our first annual Lip Sync Battle!  It is happening after school on April 10th. Whether you want to get a group together and perform a song or just cheer on your friends, this is a night you won’t want to miss. Sign-ups are open NOW using the Google Form posted around the school and online. But don’t wait too long—auditions start on Wednesday, so get your name in ASAP! Not up for performing? No problem! Come watch and support the performers. Tickets are just $3, and you can even buy voting tickets to help pick the winner! It’s gonna be an epic night, so sign up, show up, and let’s make this Lip Sync Battle unforgettable! 

6. Peninsula Combined Winter Guard team got 3rd place in their Division at the Pacific Performing Arts Championships on Saturday at Wenatchee High School.
