1. HOSA is hosting a blood drive here at PHS 16 & 17 year olds can donate with a signed permission slip. Scan QR code on posters to sign up. Be sure to bring your picture ID. Forms and questions to Mrs.Murphy in Room 105.

2. Congratulations to our three speech & debate members who competed at the National Qualifying tournaments these past two weekends. Junior Captain Mars Burton qualified in not only Big Questions but also US Extemp - ranking 1st in Extemp on Saturday. Junior captain Alyssa Robinson qualified in Humorous Interpretation - also ranking 1st in the tournament. Senior captain Alex Sprague qualified in Informative speaking where she too was ranked first out of all the speeches. Finally, as a team, PHS ranked THIRD in the National Qualifying tournament overall, beating out some schools that had 11-12 members competing. The three will head to Des Moines, Iowa in June to compete at the National Level - Congrats - we are PHS proud of you!

3. Are you ready for some March Madness in the form of a 3v3 basketball tournament? Sign ups begin TODAY at both lunches.  It's $15 per team of up to 4 people. The tournament begins on March 18th. Get your team together and sign up so you don't miss out on this awesome event!
