- Good Luck and Congrats to the following students as they travel to Spokane today and tomorrow to perform in the All Northwest and All State Honor Bands. They will be performing with top musicians from 6 states! Dylan Shipman, Annan Ball, Kristopher Davis, Gavin Bertholf, Natalie Chonzena, Jhoanna Lopez, Emma Barnes Go Hawks!
- Students from PHS’s Media Club are going to STATE. Media Club is affiliated with TSA - Technology Student Association, a National Technology Association for student competitions. Tres Clements, Angelina Brambila, Kit Haynes, Hallie Day, Carson Morrison, and Ronin Goose have been selected to represent PHS with their short film, “A Mother and her Son’s” in the Video Productions Challenge, and the Video on Demand competition at the State conference in April in Spokane WA. We wish them well.
- All students in the EL program will be taking the WIDA test on February 27th and February 28th, 4th-6th periods in the library. Students, please be sure to arrive on time with your charged chromebooks. Teachers, please be sure to remind the students on your list.
- Congratulations to our PHS Jazz Band for earning straight Superior ratings from judges at last week's Commencement Bay Music Educators' Association Jazz Festival. A Superior rating is the TOP rating that can be achieved! They received numerous positive comments from audience members, other directors, and judges alike. Way to go!
- Are you ready to Glow Crazy?! Spring Fling will be here before you know it and it is on track to be the best in the history of PHS! It will be on Saturday, March 8th from 7 - 10pm and we have secured DJ Dubre for the evening! Tickets are $8 with ASB and $10 without and will go on sale the day we return from Mid-Winter Break - February 24th. This is the event of the year and you won't want to miss it! Guest Dance forms are in the Main Office and with the Bookkeeper.
- Seahawks, your Matchomatics results are here! Last day to pick them up. West Sound Tech please see Ms. Bruess in room W1 during 1st period if you would like your Match info. Everyone else can pick up in the commons during lunch. Printouts are $3. Don't miss out!
