  1. A big shout out to our very own Girls Flag Football team on their 28 -7 win over  Mt Tahoma. This is the 1st year of the sport here at PHS and the girls start it off with a Great Win! Congrats and GO SEAHAWKS!

 

  1. Next week is our first ever Food Basket food drive to support Food Backpacks 4 Kids!  We will be collecting food throughout the week and competing against Gig Harbor and Henderson Bay high schools to see who can be crowned champions at the end of the week!  We are looking for the following items, but any non-perishable, non-expired items will be accepted: granola bars, fruit cups, goldfish, fruit snacks, oatmeal packets & canned tuna & chicken. We will also be collecting food at the FishBasket games on Wednesday night at both PHS and GHHS. Please help support this awesome cause and our community, Seahawks!

 

  1. Boys Soccer is having pre-season workouts starting this Friday from 2:15-3:45 at Roy Anderson Field.  Bring running shoes and your soccer gear.  For more information contact Coach B by e-mail or show up to his classroom, room 623.  At this training session we’ll be discussing the schedule for the rest of the workouts. 

 

  1. Please congratulate the fantastic 10 Band students that will be attending the Pacific Lutheran University Northwest Honor Band tomorrow and Saturday! They will be putting together a whole concert in just about 36 hours after only receiving the music upon arrival and never playing with the group before!  Dylan Shipman, Annan Ball, Gavin Bertholf, Kristopher Davis, Riley Oltmann, Andrew Ericson, Kyoka Morimoto, James Kane,,Audrey Derr,Jhoanna Lopez

 

  1. This Shark bowl we gave GHHS a run for their money scoring 86-100 GHHS still won but it was such a close fight. Jonah Bergerson got a school record in the 100 meter butterfly and a state qualifying time. That school record was from 2010 previously held by Micheal Lee. State qualifiers: Jonah Bergerson. District qualifiers: Jonah Bergerson, Aidan Miller, Tyler Givot, Henry Moore, Owen Moore, Travis Buell, Aidan Pawson, Garret Sale, Cullen Stitt
