1. We have an All AMerican walking the halls of PHS. In her first race on a national stage, Elektra Higgins placed 13th at Nike Cross Nationals this weekend in Portland, OR. After an aggressive start in very muddy conditions, she patiently worked her way up against the best runners in the country. Elektra defeated the #1 runner from 41 different states and capped an incredible high school cross country career. We are PHS Proud!

 

2. Our Winter Social is THIS Thursday, Dec 12th from 2 - 4pm in the Commons. We can’t wait for you to join us to play games, make snowflakes, listen to holiday music and more fun!   There will be hot cocoa and cookie decorating for purchase for $1 each.  It is a cash only event. We hope you will join us for a chance to get together, Seahawks! 

 

3. We will be having a Winter Break Spirit Week NEXT week and we hope you'll join in on the fun! Join us this Friday, Dec 13th in the Commons at both lunches for a Fashion Show as we show off the following spirit day outfits for you to get ready for the upcoming week (Dec 16th - 20th)!   Monday - Long Winter's Nap PJ Day, Tuesday - Look What Grandma Got Me Funny Accessories, Wednesday - Winter Wonderland White Out, Thursday - Channel Your Flannel, Friday - Twas the Night Before Winter Break Holiday/Ugly Sweater Day

 

4. Seniors: Need help on the FAFSA? TODAY from 8:00 - 1:30 the Career Center will have a FAFSA expert to assist you. Bring your Chromebook! Any questions? See Mrs. Amrine or Mrs. Jackson in the Career Center.

 

5. There will be NO Environmental Club Tuesday (12/10). Instead, club members who are available should attend PHS' Winter Social this Thursday (12/12) from 2PM - 4PM in the commons.

 

6. Great job Knowledge Bowl on their first win of the season. At Thursday’s competition they defeated Life Christian Academy and Federal Way by a score of 49 to 20 to 112. Great job KB!

 

7. There are only 7 days left to buy a yearbook and senior salute. If you have not bought a book yet, go to our website to purchase online or see the bookkeeper to purchase in person. Don't miss out on the memories!

 

8. Back by popular demand it's our incredible Salad Bar! Please come to the Commons today for our delicious, fresh salad bar with all of your favorite salad toppings. Our toppings include: spicy or regular chicken, ham, turkey, cheese, eggs, peppers, onions, cucumbers and much much more!
