  1. Attend this FREE hands-on sessions hosted by medical professionals to learn more about medical career opportunities.  Today at 6:30 to 8:30 PM in the PHS Library. Warm drinks and cookies provided. Contact Mrs. Murphy or Mr. Smith for questions.

 

  1. Are you proficient in a language other than English? If you can easily read, write, listen, and speak another language, consider taking the free World Language Competency Exam. You could earn up to 4 high school credits and/or the WA State Seal of Biliteracy. The last day to sign up is Friday, November 22. Please see your counselor to sign up or with any questions.

 

  1. For the first time in school history, a PHS cross country runner has qualified for the national championship. Elektra Higgins faced the best athletes from seven northwest states last Saturday in Boise, Idaho. Her 5th place finish guaranteed that she will be just one of three Washington runners to compete at Nike Cross Nationals on December 7th in Portland. Elektra has been ranked as high as 15th in the USA this season; she extends her Senior season three more weeks as she prepares to face the nation's most elite runners.

 

  1. Calling All Girls Interested in Girls Flag Football, we are starting the new PHS Girls Flag Football Team this Winter. You will have FUN learning, developing, and competing! (But you Must register to play through FInalForms, have an ASB Card, and an updated Physical to be cleared to participate, if Questions stop by the Athletic Office) # 7 as 1

 

  1. Hey Juniors! Reminder that Krispy Kreme pre-sales are still going on! Please make sure to turn in your forms to Mrs.Duray by November 20th. 

Lost your Form? No problem! Stop by our Krispy Kreme table during both lunches to pick up a new one! We will also be doing pre-sales at lunch as well for any student that wants to buy Krispy Kreme donuts and pick them up at Winterfest - you can also sign up to volunteer at the same time!

 

  1. PHS leadership is having a cornhole tournament all next week, November 18-22 during both lunches. There is a $2 buy in and after that you can play all the cornhole you want all week long! Play with a partner or be matched with one with a chance to win a prize!
