Patriot Day
- Happy HOCO Spirit Week! See you at lunch for spirit week lunch competitions! Tomorrow's spirit day is Denim day - 1 spirit point for every piece of denim you wear! No denim, no problem. If you wear blue, you can still earn points for your class.!
- Did you get it yet? HOCO ticket sales are still going, they are $10 with ASB. Without your ASB card, tickets are $12. Sales end on Thurs, Oct 10th. At the door, tickets will be $15. Get your tickets early Seahawks! Get your guest forms in early also!
- John Environmental Club this coming Tuesday (October 8th) at 2:00 PM in room 401 to help tidy up our campus for the upcoming HOCO festivities.
- Peninsula Seahawks girls swim team went up against the Gig Harbor Tides on thursday. Gig Harbor won 116-67 This was a tough meet but the seahawks pushed through and had many great swims. There were many best times and district qualifying times. New district qualifiers: Lee Gjertson: 100 fly, 100 free, Ryan Garrels: 100 back, Sydney Gardner: 200 IM
- If you are bringing a guest to our HOCO, make sure to get the Guest Form NOW! Deadline is Wednesday, October 9th.
- Are you interested in a non-competitive game? Join Chess Club on Tuesdays after school until 3:15 in room 519! Take part in a game of chess while you talk with like-minded individuals about whatever you want. Don't worry too much about club politics, our politics is only on the board! All levels ability are welcome!
- Homework Club will start next Tuesday, October 8. It will be in Room 304 (Ms. Gere) from 2:15 - 4.
- Cross Country took on 98 schools at the Hoka Invitational on Saturday. Elektra Higgins finished first in 17 minutes, 0 seconds. Her time broke an all-time course record at Chambers Creek. JV Boys placed 13th, led by an outstanding performance from Aidan Pawson. The team is nine days away from their one and only home meet of the season (Wednesday, October 16). Come out to honor Seniors and stay for Cross Country under the lights. The course will be 90% viewable from the stadium seats of Roy Anderson Field.
