Biology is a year long, laboratory science course. Students will explore cell structure and function, biochemistry, genetics, evolution, biological systems, ecology, microbiology, and a survey of life kingdoms. National and state standards for student learning will be emphasized. This course aims to provide the biological knowledge needed to make informed decisions about health and environmental issues in everyday life. |
