Maren Stavig has been at PHS for 10 years
and at a number of other schools in the district before she came.
She is a registered nurse and a nurse practitioner with a master's
degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Maren assesses the health
needs of students, writes emergency health care plans, contacts
parents about referrals to health care providers, works directly
with students who have health needs and manages the health program
for the school. Maren also advises the Lifesavers club, a suicide
prevention peer education program. |
