and do not reflect the requirements for a college bound student.

Occupational Education 1.0 credits

Science 2.0 credits
Social Studies 3.5 credits
Electives 5.5 credits

Minimum Acceptable Total 22.0 credits
 

For students considering four-year college entrance, most university officials require
students to earn credit in the following courses:

 

4 years of English
4 years of math
2 years of lab-based science and 1 year of algebra-based science
2 years of foreign language
3 yearlong college prep courses in each year of high school, including senior year

 

* Graduating class 2008 and beyond, students need to complete a Senior Project, High School Plus
Plan as well as pass the math, reading, and writing WASL. Class of 2010 and beyond must pass all four
sections of the WASL.
