The aim of the club is to give students an opportunity to learn about Chinese culture through a variety of activities, to share information about Chinese culture with the wider school community, and to have fun!

Here are some of the activities from last year:

• We had a booth at Tide Fest where we sold homemade Chinese food (we raised funds to launch our club). This year, we will include WinterFest as well.
• We played Mahjong.
• We did a tea tasting at a new Chinese tea shop in Tacoma to learn about Chinese tea.
• We watched Chinese movies and ate Chinese snacks.
• We learned some basic Chinese knotting.
• We shared presentations from the students in the club who participated in the Chinese Exchange Program.

Last year, we met the first Tuesday of each month at GHHS, and the 3rd Tuesday of each month at PHS. I think we'll do something similar this year, but I'm not sure.

We have a parallel set of officers at each school.
